During your first visit, Dr. Alex will thoroughly examine your child’s mouth to understand their dental needs and identify any potential issues.
If they are deemed necessary, and if you approve, we will take a set of x-rays. These images will help us spot issues that may not be visible to the naked eye.
Our hygienists will clean your child’s teeth and speak to your child in an age-appropriate, engaging manner. It is our goal to get your child excited about their dental health.
Even as a young child, Dr. Alex knew she wanted to grow up to be a dentist. With an extensive educational background, formal advanced training in a pediatric specialty, and years of experience in private practice, Dr. Alex is proud to be able to provide expert, individualized, child-friendly care. Dr. Alex cherishes being a pediatric dentist. She enjoys being playful with her patients and creating fun and positive dental experiences for them. There is nothing more rewarding than having a parent tell her how surprised they are that their child is actually excited to come back for their next visit!

Today was my first day! Let me say I love it! The staff are amazing very friendly and make you feel very welcomed!! The doctor was very informative and nice and made me and my kids comfortable Im so glad this placed opend. My son was very anxious about going to the dentist - visibly shaking, wouldn’t open his mouth, the whole nine yards. The staff was incredibly patient and talked him through everything. He eventually started to relax with each step. I can’t say enough great things about this team of dental professionals. Great facility! We were the only ones there at the time so we were able to be in the open area but we were asked if we preferred a closed off room also. Each station has a tv and headphones to keep kiddos entertained. My kids put a leaf on their thankful tree - my oldest who was scared of the dentist put that he was thankful for “getting his teeth cleaned”.

We know how stressful dealing with medical bills can be. That’s why we use specialized programs and software designed specifically to help with insurance benefits. Typically, there won’t even be an out of pocket cost for cleanings and exams. If Dr. Alex finds any potential issues during your child’s exam, she may make recommendations for additional treatments which would incur additional costs, and we always let you know up front what those costs will be. We know what it’s like being surprised by a doctor’s bill, so we want to eliminate the surprises!
First and foremost, you can expect a great visit to the dentist! Your child’s first visit will be focused on getting to know them and their individual needs. Every child’s personality is different, and we want to accommodate this. We’ll make sure they are gently introduced to our friendly staff to ensure they feel comfortable in their new dental home. It is our goal to establish a safe and fun environment that they actually look forward to visiting for years to come.

At Kids Tooth Team we offer our patients a variety of insurance and payment options. For your convenience, we accept Medicaid and most major PPOs in addition to working with third-party lenders.
