We greatly appreciate receiving medical histories online beforehand so we can prepare accommodations in advance. Since each child has individual needs, we rely on families to inform us of their likes, dislikes and recommendations to create an ideal environment. We also have office tour videos to show children what to expect, allowing them to see everything before their visit. Accommodating special needs requires collaboration, so please share any preferences or concerns.
We begin with a personal consultation to fully discuss your child’s needs, medical history and other relevant information. Meeting face-to-face allows us to start building rapport and trust as we learn about your child's unique situation. Teledentistry meetings over video are also available, if preferred.
Next, we create a tailored treatment plan outlining the steps we'll take to ensure your child feels comfortable and safe. For sensory issues, we might minimize lights and sounds, provide headphones, or play a favorite movie. We accommodate all special needs.
Once everything is prepared per the treatment plan, our dentists provide the care necessary for healthy smiles. Regular visits will help maintain dental health while further acclimating your child to our office. More frequent cleanings may benefit some children.
